• This election feels bittersweet to me. I'm glad the conservative movement has not been dealt a death blow and yet I'm still feeling really shaky about what the Trump win means for those who aren't white, evangelical, and republican-ish.
  • May the conservatives FIGHT for bi-partisan team building that strengthens America spiritually, morally, economically, relationally.
  • I will support my new president-elect by withholding my criticism while holding onto my caution and respect for the office he will soon hold.
  • I'm proud of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump for the way they have spoken and conducted themselves since the winner was announced.
  • Hillary's speech was a lesson for us on graciousness in defeat. I cannot imagine how she feels and how deep the pain of this loss goes for her. While I do not think she was fit for the Presidency, I am able to empathize with her and her team and pray for them. No doubt it's hard.
  • I have ZERO tolerance for triumphalism from my Trump-supporting friends. Leave that garbage in the dumpster and stop taking it out and waving it in everyone's faces. It stinks and so do you as you hold on to it.
  • I have ZERO tolerance for the winy vitriol from the left around Donald Trump and republicans in general. Knock it off. Continue to follow your leaders (Clinton and Sanders) and take their advice..."Give the man a chance to lead."
  • Pro-life, Pro-religious liberty (for everyone), Pro-racial reconciliation, Pro-national security, Pro-foreign relations, and Pro-business policy (economics) are the platforms I personally care most deeply about.
  • My concern for Trump is there seems to be no real evidence of a moral compass within the man. Therefore, as pressure mounts, his team gets bigger, the voices get louder, and the stakes get higher I am concerned for what will govern his decision-making. Will it be pragmatics? Greed? Power? Pride? A toxic combination? We have no idea...
  • God, please help us and humble our leaders before You...
  • It's the church's responsibility to continue to wade into and drive the conversation around racial-reconciliation, pro-life, and religious liberty. Regardless of whether or not "your people" occupy office.
  • I am thankful that no man can hinder, unseat, or frustrate the plans of our Sovereign King...our lives and legacies are fully in your hands, O LORD.
