SCROLL DOWN

THE GOSPEL IS CENTRAL

The Good News of Jesus is our hope. We receive God’s grace because of who He is and what He’s done.

Who is jesus?

At the center of Christianity is not a philosophy, a moral code, or a religious institution.

It is a person—Jesus Christ.

Christians assert Jesus is God Himself who entered human history, became one of us, lived the flawless life we could never live, died the death we’ve earned and deserved, rose again in victory over sin and death, and now offers forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope to everyone who trusts Him.

Today Jesus Christ reigns as Lord over all things, and one day He will return to make all things new.

How do I BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

No one becomes a follower of Jesus by trying harder, becoming more religious, or by earning God’s approval.

The Bible teaches that every person has sinned against God and is spiritually unable to save themselves. Yet before the world began, God, in His love and mercy, determined to save a people for Himself through Jesus Christ.

God freely offers salvation to all people through the good news of Jesus. Whenever someone becomes a Christian, it is because God has first gone to work in their heart by the Holy Spirit, awakening them to their need for Him and giving them the desire and ability to respond. This new life is entirely a gift of God’s grace.

A person becomes a follower of Jesus by turning from their sin and placing their trust in Jesus Christ alone. They believe that His death fully paid for their sin, that His resurrection secured their new life, and that He alone is able to save. At that moment, God completely forgives their sin, declares them righteous because of Christ, and welcomes them into His family as His beloved child.

From that day forward, the Holy Spirit continues to transform every believer to become more like Jesus. Though Christians still struggle with sin, God faithfully completes the work He has begun in them. One day, when Christ returns, every believer will be made perfectly like Him and will enjoy eternal life with God in a fully restored creation. Because salvation belongs to the Lord from beginning to end, all who truly belong to Christ are kept secure by His power forever.

An example prayer for salvation

“Lord Jesus,

I know that I have sinned against You and cannot save myself. I believe that You are the Son of God who came to rescue sinners like me. Thank You for living the life I could never live, dying on the cross for my sin, and rising again in victory over sin and death.

Today I turn from my sin and place my trust in You alone. Have mercy on me, please. Forgive me, make me new, and receive me as Your own. I surrender my life and my future into Your hands.

Teach me to follow You. Transform my mind, heart, soul, and strength so that I can know You deeply, love You completely, join You on Your mission to reach others, and live for Your glory all my days.

Thank You for loving me, seeking me, and giving me the hope of eternal life. I trust You as my Savior and gladly receive You as my Lord.

Amen.”
